Zurich International School Roots & Shoots club

Zurich International School runs a very successfull Roots & Shoots club with 4th and 5th graders, who do projects to help people, animals and the environment:

In the 2024/25 schoolyear, the club ran their «Trash in our Boots» campaign, aimed at raising awareness about the amount of litter left behind in the playgrounds and encouraging students to clean up after recess. They organized monthly playground clean-ups, and  ended the campaign by opening a shop during Sports Day, where they sold beeswax wraps, bookmarks, and origami flowers to raise money for the environment. Well done!
